Terms of Service

1. What we provide

MyCELPIP Coach is an independent online practice platform for the CELPIP test. We offer practice tasks across Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking, with automated scoring and AI-generated feedback designed to help you prepare.

We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Paragon Testing Enterprises or Prometric, the organisations behind the official CELPIP test. CELPIP® is a registered trademark of its respective owner. Our practice questions are original content modelled on the public test format — they are not real or past exam material.

2. AI feedback is an estimate, not an official score

Scores, estimated CELPIP levels, and feedback produced by the service are generated by automated and AI systems for study purposes only. They are estimates to guide your practice and are not official CELPIP results, not a prediction or guarantee of your actual exam performance, and have no standing with any testing body or immigration authority. Only an official CELPIP test produces an official score.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• One account per person; don't impersonate others or share access in a way that abuses the service.

Tell us promptly at hello@mycelpipcoach.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Credits and payments

Reading and Listening practice is free. Scoring for Writing and Speaking is paid for with credits, which you can buy in packs.

• Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) and payments are processed by Stripe. Applicable taxes may be added.
• Credits are a digital good for use within the service. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another account.
• One credit is consumed when you submit a Writing or Speaking response for scoring.
• By purchasing, you ask us to make your credits available immediately, and you acknowledge that credits you have used cannot be refunded, because the scoring has already been delivered to you.
• If you change your mind, you can request a full refund of a credit pack within 14 days of purchase, as long as you have not used any of the credits in it. Just contact us and we'll refund it.
• Beyond that, purchases are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law.
• Credits purchased through a third-party app store (such as the Apple App Store) are subject to that store's refund policy and process.

If something goes wrong with a purchase — for example you were charged but credits weren't added — contact hello@mycelpipcoach.com and we'll make it right.

5. Acceptable use

When using the service, you agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our content or make it available as a competing product.
• Reverse-engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or use the service to harass others.
• Use automated means to access the service in a way that places an unreasonable load on it.

6. Intellectual property

The service, including our practice content, software, design, and branding (excluding third-party trademarks such as CELPIP®), is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own CELPIP preparation. You keep ownership of the responses you create; you grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and score them so we can provide the service to you.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that scores and feedback will be accurate, complete, or reflect your official exam results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on scores or feedback, your exam outcomes, or any immigration or other decision. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that harms it or other users. If we discontinue the service, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
